Originally from a beachside suburb in Dunedin, I followed my two sisters to Wanaka in 2003, which is when I joined AMC. Previously I had spent six years in tropical far north Queensland managing a backpackers and guest house – a job I loved just as much as my current receptionist role. Working with such great people in an awesome environment ensures that coming to work each day is a pleasure, and being at the front desk provides me with a wonderful excuse to get dressed up and get the lipstick on every day!!
I am passionate about my family life which includes two adult children, a teenager and two delightful grandsons.

I shifted from the Bay of Plenty to Wanaka in 2001 for a year, and haven’t found a reason to leave yet! I have worked at AMC as a receptionist since 2001, in between playing tennis, skiing, biking and walking. I have three children and four grandsons who all live in the North Island.

I have worked for Aspiring Medical Centre since 2013 as a receptionist and love the interaction with patients on a daily basis. Married with two boys, our family enjoy the outdoor activities that the Wanaka lifestyle offers. Having travelled extensively in my younger days we now enjoy sharing this experience with our children and look forward to broadening their knowledge of different cultures over the next few years.

I was born and brought up in England and came to NZ in the late eighties. I loved it so much that I decided to stay. I have worked as a medical administrator/receptionist in Wellington since 2000, prior to that I was in Childcare for eighteen years. My partner and I also owned and operated an Olive Grove in the Wairarapa for 14 years which we sold when we moved to Wanaka.

I am originally from Sussex in the UK and emigrated here in 2006 with my family. We spent our first few years in New Zealand in Auckland, where I studied for my Batchelor of Accountancy at Massey University, before discovering paradise here in Wanaka! I had a career in banking and small business accounting in the UK and now work as a bookkeeper/administrator for a variety of organisations in Wanaka, including AMC, where I have had the part-time role of Financial Administrator since 2012.

I have three teenage boys, the eldest is studying in Auckland and the other two are at Mount Aspiring College. In my spare time I love to read, swim, kayak and explore this beautiful part of the world. I am a member of the Wanaka Lake Swimmers Club and Secretary of the Wanaka Junior Football Club.

I began my working life as a teacher but moved into small business management and administration through owning and running a tourism business at Makarora for 22 years. I have worked at AMC since 2004. As the Practice Manager I am responsible for the effective running of the business part of the practice. This includes everything from recruiting and looking after staff, to financial management and liaison with government and local health agencies. I love the challenges and diversity of my job (with the possible exception of fixing printers!). Outside of work I am involved in a number of community organisations and am a Justice of the Peace.
