I recently moved from Dunedin to join my partner in beautiful Wanaka. I have joined Aspiring Medical Centre as the Reception Team Manager. I love the diversity of work that each day brings and the variety of people I meet. I really enjoy the medical environment and have previously worked as a nurse in Auckland. I live for the outdoors and love to spend every free moment mountain biking, swimming, hiking, skiing and snowboarding. I also love to travel and have spent years exploring various parts of the world, including living in The Netherlands, Switzerland, France and Canada.

I shifted from the Bay of Plenty to Wanaka in 2001 for a year, and haven’t found a reason to leave yet! I have worked at AMC as a receptionist since 2001, in between playing tennis, skiing, biking and walking. I have three children and four grandsons who all live in the North Island.

I moved to Wanaka with my family in 2012. Auckland born and bred, I love the contrast between the big city and our wonderful town of Wanaka and everything that makes this town what it is. I have an airline background both in the air and on the ground. Travel is still a passion but it is nice to live in Wanaka when I have to have my feet on the ground.

I was born on the West Coast and spent most of childhood in Nelson. My family moved to Oamaru where I attended Waitaki Girls High School. I travelled to Osaka in 2010 to experience the culture and to improve my Japanese speaking skills. Prior to moving to Wanaka I worked in Dunedin and Oamaru in the hospitality industry. Life in Wanaka is fun as there is always plenty to do. I love the outdoors and in my spare time I like to run, swim and play netball. I am really enjoying the challenge of working at Aspiring Medical Centre where no day is the same as the last.

Born and bred in the mighty Waikato, I now have the privilege of living in Wanaka.  I have lived here for 10 years and enjoy the lifestyle that our beautiful town offers. Having worked in the beauty industry for 12 years, I was excited when I was given the opportunity to work at Aspiring Medical Centre.  I am able to adapt to anything life throws at me, and I thrive on meeting new people and enjoy challenging roles. In my spare time I enjoy walking the hills near my home in Queensberry.

I grew up in Dunedin and have lived in Wanaka for 25 years.  I have previously worked in various administrative and client based roles and for a few years, co-owned a business. I’m now a part-time receptionist at Aspiring Medical Centre which allows me to continue enjoying the outdoors and various sporting activities.

I was born and brought up in England and came to NZ in the late eighties. I loved it so much that I decided to stay. I have worked as a medical administrator/receptionist since 2000. My partner and I owned and operated an Olive Grove in the Wairarapa for 14 years which we sold when we moved to Wanaka.

I am originally from Sussex in the UK and emigrated here in 2006 with my family. We spent our first few years in New Zealand in Auckland, where I studied for my Batchelor of Accountancy at Massey University, before discovering paradise here in Wanaka! I had a career in banking and small business accounting in the UK and now work as a bookkeeper/administrator for a variety of organisations in Wanaka, including AMC, where I have had the part-time role of Financial Administrator since 2012.

I have three teenage boys, the eldest is studying in Auckland and the other two are at Mount Aspiring College. In my spare time I love to read, swim, kayak and explore this beautiful part of the world. I am a member of the Wanaka Lake Swimmers Club and Secretary of the Wanaka Junior Football Club.

I began my working life as a teacher but moved into small business management and administration through owning and running a tourism business at Makarora for 22 years. I have worked at AMC since 2004. As the Practice Manager I am responsible for the effective running of the business part of the practice. This includes everything from recruiting and looking after staff, to financial management and liaison with government and local health agencies. I love the challenges and diversity of my job (with the possible exception of fixing printers!). Outside of work I am involved in a number of community organisations and am a Justice of the Peace.
