Welcome to ConnectMed – our on-line patient portal, which brings you the ease of booking any time, from anywhere, for an appointment time that best suits you. It’s secure, safe and convenient !

Some tips to get you started:

  • You need a unique email address to sign up. If someone else in the family has already signed up using the shared “family” email, then you’ll need to create your own before you can join ConnectMed.
  • The name, date of birth and phone number you enter on the sign-up page need to match the details in our practice management system. If you have trouble signing up it’s probably because you’ve changed your phone number and we still have your old one in our system. Please give reception a call and check your details.

 

REMEMBER :

  • Portal booking is only for standard 15 minute consultations
  • Specialised services such as driver medicals, liquid nitrogen treatments, travel consults, aviation medicals and immigration medicals all have different booking requirements. PLEASE CALL RECEPTION on 03 443 0725 to book these appointments.
  • You can also cancel or reschedule an appointment through the portal, up to 2 hours prior to the appointment time. If you have a really last minute need to cancel (less than 2 hours) we still need to know, but you’ll have to give us a call. If you fail to attend an appointment without contacting us you will probably be charged a “no show” fee.

Repeat Prescriptions

With ConnectMed you can request repeat prescriptions on line, as long as you saw the doctor the last time you got the medication or have seen the doctor within the last 6 months.

You need to allow 2 working days for your repeat request to be processed, so keep an eye on your medication levels, especially heading into the weekend.

We’ll send you a text or an email when your prescription is ready to collect or has been sent to the pharmacy named in your request.

If the doctor needs to see you before the prescription can be re-issued they’ll send you an email or a text message.

 

A helpful tip :

  • If you sign up on-line then you get basic Level 1 access. This is fine if you only want to make appointments, but if you have a few long-term medications and want to request repeat prescriptions OR if you want assess to your latest test results, you need to sign a consent form for secure Level 2 access. The consent form is available here or from the reception desk.
