ADHD Assessments
Aspiring Medical is pleased to introduce a new service for our registered patients: ADHD Assessments.
We offer both full ADHD assessment for patients over the age of 18 years and medication initiation for those that have an existing diagnosis (conditions apply).
How does this service work?
The assessment process includes:
- An initial appointment with one of our Health Improvement Practitioners 2 weeks prior to your assessment.
- ADHD assessment with Dr Andrew Boyd
- If required, a further appointment with our Nursing team and Dr Boyd
Who is Dr Andrew Boyd?
Dr Andrew Boyd is a General Practitioner who works at Aspiring Medical. He is a specialist GP with a strong focus on mental health care.
In addition to his clinical work, he serves as Clinical Director – Mental Health for WellSouth Primary Health Network. In that leadership role, he helps guide and improve mental health services across the region, supporting both patients and primary care providers.
How do I book an assessment?

Our team will contact you within 2 business days to arrange your appointments and answer any non-clinical questions. Please do not phone reception to book this service.
What is the cost?
The total cost is $1000 for full assessment and $250 for the medication initiation.
Please note:
- Full payment is required in order to confirm your appointment. No refunds will not be issued for non-attendance or cancellation of your assessment with less than 5 business days notice.
- In the event additional tests are required, charges may apply.
